Good is Merch: commercial cockpit, workflow, and centralized documents

The product brings into one foundation what is often scattered: commercial accounts, catalog, documents, approvals, payments, and production follow-up. The goal was less to build one more portal than to make the business flow genuinely readable.

The project cockpit, documents, payments, and client spaces rest on a foundation stable enough to support critical journeys without day-to-day patchwork.

A business platform that keeps orders, documents, and production aligned

The captures and the signed quote show a tool much broader than a simple back office: project cockpit, workflow stages, catalog, documents, payments, roles, and structured client spaces.

The technologies that really mattered

This section highlights the few technologies that carried the project, what they brought, and why they fit this product so well.

Next.js

Client space and project cockpit

Next.js helped bring together the client space, commercial cockpit, and project view in one clearer interface.

TypeScript

More reliable business flows

TypeScript helped keep the product more stable when quotes, documents, stages, and validations all meet in the same tool.

Stripe

Payments and validation without friction

Stripe added a clean payment layer inside an already dense workflow without multiplying tools around the account.

How the project was led

The same delivery discipline is applied here: scoping, structure, build, rollout, and evolution, with trade-offs adapted to the real project.

Commercial workflow & offer

Clarify the real stages between brief, quote, order, invoice, and delivery.

Accounts, documents & catalog

Structure references, files, pricing, uploads, and documents in the same business foundation.

Project cockpit & client spaces

Give internal teams and clients a clear view of every ongoing account.

Payments, roles & approvals

Define who sees what, who approves what, and when an account can move forward.

Business adjustments & scale

Make the flow reliable before adding more volume and more automation around the product.

Launch & continuity

Release a foundation that is usable immediately and clean enough to last over time.

Context

Good is Merch needed a clearer way to run its projects, catalogs, documents, and orders, with a base strong enough to absorb volume without multiplying manual back-and-forth.

The need was to align the objects that truly move a commercial account forward: catalog, quote, purchase order, payments, communication, and milestone tracking.

Problem to solve

When a team manages batches, approvals, documents, and orders through several tools or message threads, readability drops fast. The same data gets re-entered, documents scatter, and production loses its bearings.

The product therefore had to reduce that dispersion by creating one business center usable by internal teams as well as authorized clients or partners.

What was delivered

The signed scope covers a secure client portal, team and role management, an automated commercial workflow, a product area, rights-filtered documents, as well as communication and payments.

Concretely, the product delivers a project cockpit, a current stage, a nominal checklist, generated documents, and a readable progress state per account.

What this changed

Good is Merch can now run a project from a much clearer foundation. The key objects of the account now live in the same cockpit.

The workflow makes progress readable for the team and better prepares what comes next: production, documents, invoicing, and payments now flow more cleanly.

The platform therefore serves as a commercial base, a document base, and an operations base all at once. That is what makes it useful over time.
